ABOUT

Hello, this is a place where I can just show off some of the stuff I accumulated over time. I usually just find stuff at thrift stores / secondhand stores, rarely I go out of the way to get stuff online. I don't really do any research about the stuff I get, I mostly judge a book by the cover when in stores.

The menu is more of a minishowcase so you can see what I have without needing to read every little thing. You can click on the album art to see where I did actually talk about that album briefly, if you care. Click on the CD gifs to either see a playlist of the music or where you can buy it.

STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!!!! THIS WILL TAKE A WHILE!!!!!!!! SIT STEADY!!!!!!!!!!!

"FRESH SAUERKRAUT"
By The Sauerkrauts

I got this at a thrift store. Its a polka album, a genre I wouldn't naturally listen to but it is a pretty good. Fun album. Aparently its being sold for 100 bucks online, but I don't think anyone is buying it at that price. I also can't find anything easily about the band, searching "Fresh Sauerkraut" surprisingly only gives you recipies instead of music. Maybe I'm just a stupid asshole.

"PRÓXIMA ESTACIÓN: ESPERANZA"
By Manu Chao

I actually heard one of the songs off this album before buying it, but I didn't know unti the song started playing when I listened to it. It is a very good album. Uses a mixture of English and Spanish lyrics that I like. The song I heard before hand was "Me Gustas Tu", I heard a snippit of it in tiktoks (I don't have it but I get sent videos from it by friends and such).

"RARE BIRD ALERT"
By Steep Canyon Rangers And Steve Martin

Bluegrass album. Truthfully, I picked this up for the cover. Music is good, except one song was like a pseudo stand up routine about how athiests suck. Its expected that some bluegrass songs will be religious, but its not even a good song. Also, it features the Dixie Chicks and I heard that there was some controversy, but all I found was that they criticized George Bush, of course I may not dug deep enough. However, if that was it, then it was nothing, I'd curse Bush's bloodline in my sleep. However, my research was shallow, so I dont fully know. I found this at a thrift store, so I didn't end up giving the band any money if they were in any horrible controversy.

"Strange Bedfellows"
Capitol Records

This is a compilation/promo album. Has a ton of artists on it. I decided it was best to put the record

A lot of indie rock, another album that I picked up becuase the case. It is just a cardboard sleeve, but it has great theming. theres a little tag with all the artists that looks like the tag on a bed. None of the songs particularly caught my ear, but it is still quality. If you like this genre, maybe look into it

  • Bran Van 3000
  • 1000 Clowns
  • Plastilina Mosh
  • The Jesus Lizard
  • Sparklehorse
  • Vic Chesnutt With Lambchop
  • A Don Piper Situation
  • Junebug
  • The Push Stars
  • Thanks To Gravity
  • Skeleton Key

"SPEAKING IN TONGUES"
By Talking Heads

Love me some Talking Heads!! This is probably the first CD that I bought online, also the first Talking Heads CD that I bought. The first song, Burning Down The House, is a good song, but also the weakest in the album (in my opinion).

"REMAIN IN LIGHT"
By Talking Heads

The second Talking Heads album I got, however Once In A Lifetime was the first Talking Heads song I've ever heard. This is a great album, would sometimes listen to it on repeat for hours.

"THE GREAT MELINKO"
By Insane Clown Posse

A friend introduced me to ICP, started listening when I graduated high school and started working a retail job. I was a bit more angsty then, so I listened it alot more then. Still think its good tho. This is the first ICP album I got. Sometimes I'd end up accidentally listening to the 'clean' versions of some of the songs on Youtube, so I'm glad I got the CD to avoid that.

"HELL'S PIT"
By Insane Clown Posse

This is really the album I would listen to over and over. Though I think the last song, Underground Baby, was not as good as the rest of the album. One of my first Ebay purchases ever, led to a fruitful carrer of impared impulse control. It came with a DVD too, though I have'nt played it yet.

"HELLBILLY DELUXE"
By Rob Zombie

The same friend who introduced me to ICP showed me Rob Zombie. Same story as ICP, listened to it mainly when I was a fresh highschool graduate. Still a good album, very high energy. The first CD that I played on my Hello Kitty boombox (now sadly broken).

"NIGHT IN THE WOODS ost"
BY ALEC HOLOWKA

I got these from a special edition from limited run games . It's no longer being sold, I think, so I am glad that I was able to get it. The cds were the main draw for me, this game's soundtrack evokes such a great feeling.

"DEMON TOWER ost"
BY ALEC HOLOWKA

I got this from the same Limited Run games release as the NITW soundtrack cds. I never really played this section of the game but the soundtrack was good.

"STARDEW VALLEY ost"
BY CONCERNEDAPE

I got this on fangamer. Good music. Not much to say, the music is good but it is background music. I liked it enough to buy it on cd, so theres that lol.

"OH GOOD GRIEF!"
By Vince Guaraldi

I'm frankly surprised on how good this soundtrack is. I would have not guessed that this came from The Peanuts but also I feel like no othersoundtrack would be fitting. This can be nothing but The Peanuts soundtrack, in the best of ways.
